Probably a bit too much information for me and well frankly anyone but if you really want some detailed history about the films then this is a [...]

I’m a sucker for comedy science fiction so this free ebook is going straight onto my reading list.
It’s the first in a series of four books, and is being given away for free which is a price I like. Obviously this is now becoming a common method of promoting a series/author and one that I [...]

Over at the brilliant Zombie Astronaut’s website you’ll find the unofficial/official podcast of the Canadian comedy science fiction radio series Canadia 2056.
I’m a few episodes in and really enjoying it. It’s the old “idiots/characters in space” format that made shows like Hitchhiker’s Guide and Red Dwarf so enjoyable and they really do have some great [...]

I absolutely the love the original game which is a rhythm game using the DS touch screen [...]

The demo scene has come a long way since I used to watch creaky looking scrollers on the 8 bits, some of the stuff produced in the PC scene is seriously good artwork in it’s own right.
Farbrausch have created some of my favourites so here is a fairly recent one.

The steampunk scene has slowly moved away from just a small subgenre of fiction to an entire culture and weird sort of nostalgia for a time that never really existed but seems like it should have.
The people over at SteamPunk Magaine produce a very professional publication celebrating and discussing all things steampunk. They [...]

This ebook was released not long ago by Small Beer Press, the same people who recently released Mothers & Other Monsters by Maureen F. McHugh as a free ebook.
It’s a great science fiction short story collection, I’m part way through but enjoying it. I’ll come back and add a real review when I’m done but [...]
