Free Scifi and Fantasy eBooks from Tor
Head over to Tor’s new website and you’ll be able to sign up to receive some free ebooks of their published fiction. I signed up and have just downloaded Old Man’s War by John Scalzi, which handily comes as Mobipocket, PDF or plain html.
I’m quite intrigued as to what they are actually going to create at the site although the fact that they only ask for zip code makes me think that any new service is going to be US only. Still they seem happy to provide ebooks to all for free and don’t appear to be filtering this on zip code or IP.
