Who hasn’t at some point in their lives dreamed of being a giant sandworm, hiding in the desert sands eating anything stupid enough to come wandering past? That’s right…none of you, and now your dreams have been fulfilled with Death Worm.
This is yet another Game Maker game, or perhaps minigame is more accurate description but [...]

For a ten year celebration of Eos Books (SciFi & Fantasy imprint of Harper Collins Publisher) they have generously decided to give away one of their books every two months this year in ebook form.
This month is the turn of Robin Hobb’s Shaman’s Crossing which you can download in several different formats here. I don’t [...]

Riding high in the most downloaded chart over at the internet archive is this 2nd release from Russian netlabel “Pulsations For You“.
It’s a strange blend of electronica and jazz with a whole load of other influences chucked in, all in a very playful, light-hearted manner which I wasn’t really expecting from Russian electronica.
It’s oddness but [...]

Dark Cut 2 is a surgery game along the same lines as Trauma Center on the Nintendo DS but rather more bloody and gruesome although the gameplay mechanics are not nearly as good.
It’s an interesting diversion nonetheless and the choice of the American Civil War as a setting is a bloody (in several sense of [...]

SimCity the original city building game has been released for free under the GPL with full source available for anyone who wishes to tinker.
I remember playing this for hours on my trusty old Amiga and although it’s dated quite a bit since the glory days of that beige box, it’s still an enjoyable game.
No doubt [...]

BitLet.org the web based BitTorrent client has a fairly new feature in beta which you can find here.
Simply insert a torrent URL and hit play and providing there are enough seeds to get a decent speed you should be able to stream the music directly with the Java based applet that loads.
It’s a pretty neat [...]

Any game featuring Jesus firing arrows over God’s cock has got to be worth at least a quick look hasn’t it? Oh sorry I forgot to add that this post and the game are probably quite blasphemous so fiery damnation awaits you for reading my sinful blogging.
Suicidal Entertainment’s game is basically the old ‘Tanks’ style [...]
