RIP Oscar Peterson
Heard the sad news that the great Oscar Peterson has died at 82 on 23rd December this year. There have only been a handful of times that the death of someone famous has really hit me, the last probably being Douglas Adams but this truly did sadden me. I still listen to ‘Night Train’ most weeks and many of his other albums regularly too. A real life legend from the golden age of jazz, RIP.
