TV-Links Shut Down
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!www.tv-links.co.uk has been shut down after raids led to the arrest of a 26 year old man from Cheltenham.
Since tv-links was only ever linking to content on other sites which I might add is still available, if this man is charged it could set a rather worrying precedent. Can I get in trouble for linking to a site that hosts pirate material? Can I get in trouble for explaining how to use Google to find pirate material? Will Google be held responsible for automatically indexing pirate material?
More importantly though, I now have to find another site to stream content to my XBMC setup.

It was only last week that I added the tv links script to my xbmc setup after Zoe complained that since I cancelled Sky, she could no longer watch Zoey 101 and Fairly Odd Parents!
I know its a bit rubbish, there are a few options though.
Joox script works ok but not as much content. Best option is the powerflv.com plugin but this is only availble as a plugin and not a script. You’ll need a recent svn build of XBMC to run plugins.
