Last Night I Was Mostly….
…watching Transformers at the cinema.
Honestly I’ve read some reviews of this that bemoan the lack of plot and decent human characters but they all seem to be missing the point….look they are bloody great big robots that turn into things, fighting!
The plot (what little there is of it) serves simply to link the huge robot fighting sequences together….and what is wrong with that. Its basically giant robot porn, zero plot, no deep characters, corny one liners and lots of robot on robot action :).
Oh there is a bit of blatent King Kong…”please don’t hurt my big robot he’s really here to help” nonesense but it doesn’t really get in the way of the misiles and explosions.
Probably works better on the big screen and it was even loud enough to drown out the annoying twats sitting behind me that talked through the whole film.
